We are a hard-rocking four piece from Wellington serving up all-original and distinctly-local sounds since our inception in mid 2012.
We deliver an array of guitar driven rock, funk and pop tunes that draw inspiration from diverse musical influences -
but in a way that is very much grounded in Aotearoa New Zealand and says something about Kiwis and our place in the world.

Number 8 Wireless are as passionate about sport as we are about music...almost. We decided to get in behind our local men’s and women’s A-League football teams - the Wellington Phoenix - by dedicating a song to them: Phoenix Rising. The teams love it and have embraced it as their anthem. Be prepared to hear Phoenix Rising at home A-League matches starting this season. From time to time we expect to be performing this live at games too. So learn the words above |
